Delete your Human Bean account

This is for the Human Bean loyalty card app, listed on Google Play under the developer name Digitalhope Ltd, which builds and runs it for the shop. The data controller is Lara Maritz, trading as Human Bean, of 34 High Trees Drive, BT21 0GQ, Northern Ireland. You can delete your account and the data that goes with it at any time. It is free and you do not have to say why.

In the app

1. Open Human Bean and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm with Delete. It happens straight away and you are signed out.

If you would like a copy of your data first, tap Download my data on the same screen before you delete.

If you cannot get into the app

Email humanbeanmcfaddens@gmail.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my Human Bean account". We will delete it within 30 days and write back to confirm. We may ask one question to check the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address and profile photo.
• Your birthday, if you gave one.
• Your sign-in, so the account can never be used again.
• Your notification tokens, your home shop and your marketing choice.
• Any stamps on your card and any free drinks you have not used. These cannot be brought back.

What is kept

The record of stamps and free drinks that were given at the shop: the date, the shop, and which member of staff added them. These are the shop's own sales records. Once your account is deleted nothing on them identifies you. They are kept for as long as the shop keeps its accounts.
